Having received the 2009 Mercury Prize for their debut album and reached the number one chart spot with their sophomore Coexist, The xx are continuously on the up. So following the release of Angels – the lead track from their sophomore album: The xx have recently unveiled an incredibly wet music video to accompany their forthcoming single Chained. Filmed over two days under and upon the sea, the video was made by The Creators Project, a partnership between Intel and Vice, and directed by Young Replicant.
And for those that haven’t already heard the track, there are no unpleasant surprises. The band’s signature sound has remained similar to their previous album, but with a whole new level of atmospheric bliss. Check out the video below.
